Who is behind Soldane, what personal data we process, why, with whom, and how to make us stop.
Publisher
Soldane is a brand of Sharing Solutions Sàrl, Avenue Giuseppe-Motta 14 B, 1202 Geneva, Switzerland. UID CHE-201.919.214. Contact: tom@soldane.ch.
Sharing Solutions Sàrl is also the controller for the personal data described below. For anything about your data, write to tom@soldane.ch.
Visiting this site
This site shows no advertising. Fonts and images are served from our own domain.
It is hosted by Cloudflare, which processes the technical data needed to deliver it and keep it secure (IP address, browser, requested page, time). Those logs are kept for a short period by Cloudflare for security.
From your connection, Cloudflare also tells the site which country you are in. We use that only to decide whether to ask you before counting your visit (see below), and we don’t store it.
Visit statistics
For now, this site doesn’t count visits: it loads nothing from Google Analytics and sets no analytics cookies. If we turn visit statistics on, we will update this section first, and you will be able to refuse them.
Booking a call and writing to us
When you ask for a call, we use your name, your email and what you choose to tell us to arrange it. The invitation is created in Google Calendar and the call takes place on Google Meet.
When you write to tom@soldane.ch, your email is received and stored by Infomaniak (Switzerland), and our replies are sent through Infomaniak. We may also read and answer it in Gmail (Google, a USA-based company).
We use this data only to prepare and hold the call, answer you and, if you ask for one, prepare a proposal. We never sell it or pass it on for anyone else’s marketing.
Prospecting
Sometimes Tom writes, one by one, to a named finance lead at a company that may benefit from Soldane. If that’s how you heard from us, this section is for you.
- What we keep: your name, role and employer, your work email or LinkedIn profile, the public signal that made us write (a job ad, funding news, a new role), and a short note of our exchanges.
- Where it comes from: company websites, public registers, LinkedIn, the press and introductions. When a work address isn’t published, we look it up and verify it for that one person with an email-finding and verification service (treg and the providers it calls). We never buy lists.
- Why: to offer, in a single personal message, a service related to your role. Each email is written and sent by hand, without tracking pixels, sequences or mail merge.
- How long: if you don’t reply, your details are deleted within about 90 days of our first message.
- How to stop it: reply “stop”, or write to tom@soldane.ch. We stop the same day and delete your details, keeping only your address on a do-not-contact list so it never happens again.
Who processes data for us
| Provider | What for | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare | Hosting, DNS and security of this site | Global network, USA-based company |
| Infomaniak | Our email (receiving and sending), and storage of our prospect list | Switzerland |
| Google (Gmail, Calendar, Meet) | Reading and answering email; calendar invitations and video calls | USA-based company |
| treg and the providers it calls | Finding and verifying one work email at a time | Varies by provider |
Some of these providers may process data outside Switzerland and the EU, in particular in the USA. Where they do, we rely on an adequacy decision (such as the Swiss–US Data Privacy Framework, where the provider is certified) or on standard contractual clauses.
Client data
Accounting and bank data we work with during an engagement stays in the client’s own cloud account. It is governed by the NDA and the data processing agreement signed with each client before any access. For that data we act as a processor, on the client’s instructions.
The free one-month check comes before any setup. For it, we work from the read-only access or the export you provide, use it for that check only, and delete it within 30 days of the walkthrough.
Your rights
Under the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and, where it applies, the GDPR, you can ask at any time to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, receive a copy, or object to its use. Write to tom@soldane.ch; we answer free of charge within 30 days.
You can also complain to the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC) or, in the EU, to your national authority (in France, the CNIL).
Liability and prices
Information on this site is indicative. Prices are in CHF, excluding VAT (8.1%), and are not a binding offer: only a signed quote is. Figures marked as estimates are ours, not our clients’.
